I do not read horoscopes. Or really know anything about astrological signs, for that matter—other than that I am a Taurus, and that a Taurus is notably stubborn (ding ding ding, that would be me). But today, I got an email from The Bump today with the link above, about babies’ astrological signs. Even though I’m not a big believer in that kind of thing, I thought “what the heck?” and opened it to figure out what Hadley’s sign is and read a little about it. I found out that she is a Capricorn, and here is what I read:

“Capricorn babies are very advanced mentally, and they’re achievers. ‘They want to do things before other babies do, like crawling or talking,’ says Oliver. ‘They can get frustrated if their physical development hasn’t caught up with their mental development. So encourage them to make those big leaps, but be patient when they’re frustrated.’”

I was astounded—this describes Hadley to a “T”! From holding her head up at 2 days old to rolling over at 3 weeks old, she has definitely been an overachiever. And I have often said that I think a lot of times when she is fussy, it is just because she is frustrated that she can’t do things that she wants to do, like sit up, stand up, etc.

So, maybe there is something to this astrology stuff, after all… perhaps I should start reading horoscopes?! Like I have time for that! ;)
